AKU Trekking/Hiking Shoes are built for long days on mixed UK terrain—wet grass, muddy paths, stone tracks and steep, uneven ground—where comfort, stability and reliable traction matter more than chasing the lightest possible weight. This segment is developed around comfortable, enveloping anatomical lasts to support a natural, dynamic walking action over distance. Many models use Vibram® outsoles for dependable grip, with waterproof options using Gore-Tex® (model-dependent). Selected models also integrate underfoot support systems (such as IMS where specified) to improve comfort under load and on uneven trails.
